Realme 8 is Launching on March 24 With a 108MP Camera

Now that it’s almost been half a year since Realme unveiled the Realme 7 series, it is time to look forward to a successor. The brand has started teasing the Realme 8 and 8 Pro devices which are set to go official on March 24 this year.

The company has started sending media invites for the launch of the Realme 8 series, which confirmed the March 24 launch date. Further, Realme has also shared teasers for the upcoming lineup, confirming a 108MP Infinity camera.

The 108MP camera was also detailed in earlier reports this month. The Realme 8 Pro will be using a Samsung ISOCELL HM2 108MP sensor as its main camera with enhanced zoom, portrait mode, space photography, and much more. The base Realme 8, on the other hand, will be using a 64MP camera instead.

These packages also show off the Realme 8’s yellow-ish shimmery back panel with the big “Dare To Leap” text on it. This back panel is called “Pretty Special Back Cover” and it is unclear whether it will be the marketing name for this color option.

There is no word on how many color options the Realme 8 will bring, but we do know that there is going to be a shimmery black version that will glow in the dark. The company refers to this color option as “something different in the dark”.

These packages don’t say anything about the Realme 8’s specs, but older reports have already leaked that it will feature a Helio G95 SoC, 6.4″ AMOLED screen, 5,000 mAh battery, and 30W charging.

We expect to hear more on the Realme 8 series soon with the launch date being only a few days away.
