A Consumer Court in Karachi imposed a financial penalty on an online company for delivering worn-out clothes to a customer, earlier this week.
According to details, a woman from Karachi had filed a petition against an online clothing store, contending that she was unable to attend an important event because the company in question had sent her torn and worn-out clothes.

While concluding the petition, the Consumer Court slapped a fine of Rs. 30,000 on the online clothing store and ordered it to provide new clothes to the litigant.
The court also warned to initiate contempt proceedings against the clothing store in case the company fails to pay the fine and provide new clothes to the petitioner.
The court remarked that citizens move to the judiciary seeking justice, and culprits involved in online fraud cannot be given an exemption.
