Earlier, PCB had made it clear multiple times that they want written assurances that the Pakistani contingent will be allowed to travel to the country and even approached the International Cricket Council (ICC) to resolve the issue between the two boards. It looks like the BCCI has succumbed to the pressure of PCB’s persistence and is set to honor the request.

According to reports, BCCI has received a guarantee and permission from the Indian government to provide security and grant visas to the people coming from Pakistan for the mega event.
