According to sources, players could face up to a four-match ban, along with a fine of 25 to 100 percent match fee, if they violate any bio-secure bubble protocols. The breaches have been divided into three separate categories, which include minor and major violations.

If a player is found guilty of a minor violation, which includes not wearing a face mask while traveling, sitting close to other players, and not sanitizing hands before entering the ground, they will either be issued a warning or will be fined 25 percent of their match fee. A repeat of a minor violation can lead up to a three-match ban along with a 75 percent fine.

If a player is guilty of hiding COVID-19 symptoms, fabricating test reports, or going to the isolation room without the doctor’s approval, then that will be considered a major breach, which can lead to a four-match ban and 75 to 100 percent fine.

Stepping outside the bio-secure bubble will lead to immediate quarantine, with a ban of four matches and a 100 percent match fee fine.

If a player is found in violation of any COVID-19 protocol, he will have the option to appeal the decision within the first 24 hours. The facts of the violation will be re-reviewed, and the decision will be announced within the next three days.
