Rizwan Becomes The Top Scorer in The World in 11 Consecutive T20I Innings

Pakistan wicket-keeper batsman, Mohammad Rizwan, has been in sublime form over the past year, after being promoted up the order in the shortest format, Rizwan completely transformed his game and scored massive amounts of runs for the men in green.

His performances have been top-notch and he has earned plaudits from all across the world, with many fans labeling him as the best wicket-keeper batsman in the world currently. Rizwan has backed up those claims by scoring heavily in his previous 11 T20I innings.

He has scored 619 runs in his previous eleven T20I innings, making him the top scorer in the world in 11 consecutive T20I innings. He is followed by the Indian captain, Virat Kohli, who has scored 592 runs in 11 consecutive innings and then by Pakistan captain, Babar Azam, who has scored 588 runs in 11 consecutive innings.

His career statistics are magnificent as well, he has scored 843 runs at an average of 44.36 in 36 T20I innings. He has also scored a century in the T20I format, one of only a handful of Pakistani players to do so.

Rizwan, who is celebrating his 29th birthday today was showered with blessings and wishes on various social media platforms. Pakistan captain, Babar Azam, was the first one from the national team to wish Rizwan, as he prayed for his happiness and success.

Rizwan is currently in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He will continue in his captaincy role and will be hoping to turn around the fortunes of Multan Sultans, helping them qualify for the playoffs for the second successive season.

Rizwan is the leading run-scorer of the tournament currently, having scored 297 runs at an average of 59.40 and a strike rate of 140.09 in the 5 matches he has played so far.
