Private Schools Association Wants Immediate Reopening of Sindh’s Schools

The Chairman of the All Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association has criticized the decision taken by the Government of Sindh to extend the closure of educational institutions and has demanded their reopening from Monday onwards with fully vaccinated staffs

Despite the surge in coronavirus cases, Chairman Haider Ali stated that educational institutions should be allowed to resume regular classes with 50 percent attendance, fully vaccinated staff, and full compliance with the standard operating procedures (SOPs).

The Chairman said that up to 95 percent of the vaccination process has been completed at the government schools and 80 percent at the private schools. He reiterated that the government must reopen the institutions with 100 percent inoculated staff on 23 August.
