National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has allowed a 25 percent crowd capacity for the upcoming National T20 Cup in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
The tournament will be held in two phases. The first phase of the tournament will be played from 23 September to 3 October in Rawalpindi and the second phase will be held from 6 October to 13 October in Lahore.
According to details, NCOC has allowed 25 percent of crowd capacity for the first phase of the tournament. NCOC committee will once again hold a meeting on 28 September to assess the situation of COVID-19 and make its decision for the rest of the National T20 Cup.
Only spectators who have been fully vaccinated and have an immunization certificate for COVID-19 will be allowed to attend the matches.
The National T20 Cup was initially scheduled to be played in Multan from 25 September but Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) decided to hold the tournament a few days early and shift it to Rawalpindi after the New Zealand Cricket’s sudden decision to cancel their tour of Pakistan.
The National T20 Cup will feature Pakistan’s top international players including Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Hasan Ali, Shadab Khan, and Shaheen Afridi. The tournament will provide Pakistan’s T20 World Cup squad with the perfect platform to get match practice before the start of the mega event.
