PCB Chairman Aims to Inject More Money Into PSL to Attract Top Players

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman (PCB), Ramiz Raja, is reportedly planning to add more flair to the PSL brand by attracting leading foreign players to play in the competition.

According to reports, a source was quoted to have said that “Ramiz wants to make the PSL more attractive and financially more lucrative for cricketers around the world.” The PCB Chairman is scheduled to meet franchise owners to discuss issues in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), with the prime objective to make the tournament more lucrative for leading players of the game.

Ramiz is expected to urge club owners to ensure that all sporting activities associated with the PSL brand are improved.

Furthermore, other matters concerning a solid financial league package for the PSL will also be discussed at the meeting. It has been learned that PSL owners are a bit disconcerted and “want compensation and their rightful share in the entire earnings.” These issues will also be discussed in the meeting.
