Allama Iqbal Open University Announces Admission Date for BA B.Ed Programs

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will open admissions for its Teacher Training Programs, including the 1.5-year, 2.5-year, and 4-year B.Ed programs, starting on September 1st.

In addition to these programs, AIOU will offer a range of other programs in the second phase of the Fall 2024 semester, such as associate degrees (BA/B. Com), Postgraduate Diplomas, and BS (ODL) programs.

Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood, Vice Chancellor of AIOU, highlighted the success of the Faculty of Education’s teacher training initiatives. He noted that millions of teachers have been trained through these programs, with alumni now serving in educational institutions across the country. “Our trained educators are making a significant impact in schools, colleges, and universities nationwide,” Dr. Mahmood remarked.

The first phase of admissions for the Fall 2024 semester is currently underway. The deadline for applications to the Matric, FA, and I.Com programs is September 5th, while applications for BS (Face-to-Face) programs, MS, MPhil, and PhD programs are due by August 20th.
