BMW Dewan Motors Warns Pakistanis Against Imported Cars

Dewan Motors, the official importer of BMW in Pakistan, has issued a cautionary notice regarding the unauthorized import of BMW electric vehicles from the UK and Japan. The company has observed that certain traders and dealers are bringing these vehicles into the Pakistani market without proper authorization.

In the notification, Dewan Motors emphasized that their imported vehicles are specifically designed and homologated for use in their respective original markets. Consequently, they may not comply with Pakistani regulations and conditions like fuel quality, posing potential safety and security risks to customers.

To safeguard customers, Dewan Motors has highlighted that BMW vehicles must meet local specifications to qualify for warranty coverage. Since the imported vehicles in question do not adhere to these local specifications, they will not be covered under any warranty in Pakistan.
