The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) and the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development have decided to work together to offer high-quality skill training to BISP beneficiaries to enhance their prospects for employment abroad.
Under this initiative, beneficiaries and their families will receive internationally recognized certifications to boost their job opportunities in Pakistan and overseas.
In a meeting on Wednesday, Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Chaudhry Salik Hussain and BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid agreed to develop high-quality training programs for beneficiaries and their families.
BISP Chairperson Rubina Khalid emphasized the importance of providing quality training to BISP beneficiaries and their families. She said the focus will be on areas with high demand and potential for international employment.
She added that by obtaining international certifications, trainees will have better job prospects abroad, which will also benefit the country’s economy.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain expressed his support for the initiative, highlighting its potential to help the families of beneficiaries.
He stressed the importance of generating job opportunities for underprivileged individuals and suggested collaborating with nations like Japan and Germany to ensure top-notch training standards.
Both leaders agreed that their teams need to work closely to create a detailed program. They will focus on offering courses based on demand and providing technical support to maintain high standards of skilled labor.
