The 11th meeting of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board, chaired by Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, approved various development projects and initiatives.
The board approved pre-feasibility studies for water supply projects in Islamabad, to be conducted by WAPDA. These studies include utilizing water from Khanpur Dam and exploring options for treating wastewater.
The meeting also approved feasibility studies for constructing Shahdara Dam and Chiniot Dam in Islamabad. Additionally, the board decided to engage consultants for constructing 104 family suites for parliamentarians.
The CDA Board approved the auction terms and conditions for commercial plots and decided to introduce investor-friendly policies. The meeting also terminated the services of the previous consultant for the parliamentarian housing project.
The approved projects aim to address Islamabad’s water supply issues and promote development in the capital city. The CDA Board’s decisions are expected to facilitate growth and improve living standards in Islamabad.
