Pakistan Shaheens claimed a five-wicket win over the Tasmania Tigers in the Top End T20 series. The Tigers, who opted to bat first, managed to score 124 runs before being bowled out.

Meanwhile, Shaheens successfully chased down the target in just 15.1 overs, marking their second win in three games of the series.

Imran Khan Junior delivered an impressive bowling performance, taking three crucial wickets. He was supported by Jahandad Khan and Abbas Afridi, who each took two wickets, helping to restrict Tasmania’s total.

In the chase, Sahibzada Farhan led the batting lineup with a solid knock of 45 runs, while Omair Bin Yousuf contributed 32 runs to steer the Shaheens to victory.

This win sets a positive tone for the Shaheens as they prepare to face the Melbourne Renegades in their upcoming match on August 15.

Earlier in the series, the Shaheens faced a setback when they were defeated by the Melbourne Stars. In that game, chasing a target of 176 runs, the Shaheens struggled with their batting and managed only 128 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their 20 overs, falling short by 47 runs.

This latest victory against Tasmania will likely boost their confidence as they look to build momentum in the remaining matches of the series.
