Deputy Inspector General (DIG) West, Irfan Baloch, took immediate notice of the incident and suspended ASI Parvez for his inappropriate conduct. In a statement, DIG Baloch emphasized that such behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated under any circumstances. “The conduct displayed by the officer is not in line with the ethical standards expected of our police force,” he stated, underscoring the importance of maintaining professionalism and respect in all interactions with the public.
The incident has ignited a public outcry, with many expressing their dismay over the lack of professionalism exhibited by the officer. It has also prompted discussions about the need for stricter ethical guidelines and training for police personnel to prevent similar incidents in the future. This is very normal. Most of the police servants background is not that reputed for purpose. I know higher officers expected statements but they know already its very normal. At first why not women police officer not there to question the females at first place? The answer is higher officers don’t care about reputation and trouble people going through in every police station.
