August 20th happens to be the birthday of Pakistan’s TEKKEN star Arslan Ash. We do not think however that even he expected how his latest one would have gone.
The worlds of TEKKEN and football collided spectacularly as the five-time EVO champion managed to link up with Brazilian football superstar Neymar Jr. backstage in one of many meetings at the ongoing ESports World Cup in Riyadh.
In a social media post, Arslan stated “Couldn’t have asked for a better birthday present than meeting @neymarjr! Thanks for making my day!”
Neymar, who plays for the Saudi football club Al Hilal, was present to take part in a celebrity showmatch to promote the event.
Arslan on the other hand is set to compete in the TEKKEN event of the ESports World Cup Event which is scheduled to start today.
It is to be noted also that Neymar also happens to be a massive fan of esports himself, with him being a part owner of FURIA ESports, Brazil’s biggest ESports organization.
This was not the first time Arslan has managed to cross sporting barriers as well. About two months ago, the reigning Tekken World Tour champion managed to meet up with Pakistani cricket’s resident King, Babar Azam in Dallas.
