Redmi 14C Launched With 5,160 mAh Battery and 50MP Camera for $130

Redmi 14C has arrived after a series of leaks and as promised, it offers reliable specifications in an affordable package. It comes with a stand-out blue color option called Starry Blue which features a shade of multiple colors across the back panel.

Design and Display

Since this is a budget phone, the screen features a thick bottom bezel and a U-shaped notch for the selfie camera. This screen is a tall 6.88-inch IPS LCD with 720p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is capable of hitting peak brightness levels of 600 nits. The fingerprint sensor resides on the power button on the side.

Internals and Software

On the inside, the Redmi 14C features the newly announced Helio G81 Ultra SoC. It comes with the same CPU configuration as the G80 Ultra and features multiple memory options. There are 4, 6, and 8 GB RAM options as well as 128 GB and 256 GB storage variants with the option to expand using a microSD card.

For software, you get Android 14 out of the box.

Cameras

Even though there are four camera cutouts on the back of the phone, there are only two camera lenses: a 50MP main shooter and an unspecified auxiliary lens. The third and fourth cutouts include an LED flash and a sticker. The main camera can likely record 1080p videos.

The selfie camera inside the notch is a 13MP shooter.

Battery and Pricing

The 5,160 mAh battery supports 18W wired charging, but there is no mention of reverse wired charging.

Redmi 14C has a starting price of $130 in Czechia and is available in Midnight Black, Sage Green, Dreamy Purple, and Starry Blue color options.
