The Federal Directorate of Education, in collaboration with the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, has unveiled a new initiative to introduce evening classes in schools across Islamabad.
This move is part of a campaign aimed at improving the enrollment and retention of children unable to attend regular school sessions.
The evening classes are designed to accommodate children who, due to various circumstances, cannot attend school during the day. This includes children who work during the day, have family responsibilities, or require additional academic support.
The initiative seeks to provide these students with a flexible learning schedule to ensure they don’t miss out on their education.
To support this initiative, schools will offer modern facilities, including IT labs, smart classrooms, and robotic labs, to give students access to cutting-edge technology and hands-on learning experiences. Furthermore, qualified teachers will lead the evening sessions, and well-stocked libraries will be available to help foster a strong learning environment.
This initiative reflects the Ministry’s broader goal of making education accessible to all children, regardless of their circumstances. The evening classes are a crucial step toward creating a more inclusive education system in Islamabad, providing opportunities for children who otherwise might have been left behind.
