Omari Palmer, aka Odyssey Jones, has been quietly fired from the WWE after allegations of domestic violence went viral on social media. Over the weekend, Jones was removed from WWE.com’s roster page, and his absence from recent episodes of Raw has fueled rumors about his status with the company.
Jones was last seen involved in a storyline with The New Day three weeks ago. However, his sudden disappearance from WWE programming and the roster page was initially thought to be a technical error. As time passed, it became evident that this was not the case.
Dave Meltzer addressed Jones’ situation on Wrestling Observer Radio, stating that while he had not received official confirmation from WWE, he was “relatively” certain that Jones was “done” with the company.
The situation took a more serious turn when Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported on X/Twitter that Odyssey Jones was removed from WWE TV following domestic violence allegations. As of now, there have been no reports of an arrest or charges filed against Jones. WWE has not yet provided an official comment or clarification on his status, and it appears that talent within the company has not been informed of the details surrounding the situation.
Further reports from Fightful Select indicate that Jones has not been present at the last two Raw tapings and is not included in WWE’s immediate creative plans. This absence suggests a significant shift in his standing with the company.
In an update on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez mentioned that he had been informed that Odyssey Jones was “fired,” although he did not independently confirm the domestic violence allegations.
