HMD’s Flagship Grade “Moon Knight” Phone Coming Soon

The company behind Nokia phones, HMD Global, mostly focuses on mid-range smartphones. New leaks and rumors suggest that HMD now is working on a flagship-grade phone. The device is rumored to be called the HMD “Moon Knight”.

The HMD Moon Knight (model TA-1691) is rumored to have a 1080p screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen size was not revealed, but the panel will be a P-OLED. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, which is a slightly underpowered version of the Snapdragon Gen 3, will power the Moon Knight. The chip offers power on par with last year’s chips like the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 or the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

The phone comes with a quad-camera setup for which inspiration was taken from the Nokia Lumia in terms of design. Another standout feature is that the phone could come with POGO pins, tipping towards the HMD Fusion’s design.

This design can create a whole new aspect of customization and functionality. The phone can have cases with added functionality and other attachable items. The phone is also rumored to have a dual speaker system and an aluminum frame. There are no leaks about the battery capacity, charging speeds, or memory variants.

The details on the HMD Moon Knight are still limited, so we will have to wait for any future renders or leaks to get more information on the phone.

There are also rumors about HMD releasing another mid-range smartphone. It is said to be the successor of the original Aura the HMD Aura 2. Key updates are that it will have a bigger screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. Also offers a dual camera setup with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB Storage. It will be powered by a UNISOC T603 processor.
