The first of these will be India’s face-off against New Zealand in a three-match Test series starting October 16th. Following the series against the Kiwis, India will then head down under to lock horns with Australia in what will be a hotly contested Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which will be a five-match series.

Four of these matches will take place in 2024, which is sure to provide Jaiswal with the ultimate platform to chase down Tendulkar’s legendary record.
