In a significant development, the ongoing examinations of both the Federal and Rawalpindi education boards have been postponed. The decision came late last night, following the Punjab government’s announcement of a public holiday across public and private colleges and universities.
The notification, issued by the provincial authorities, declared a holiday in educational institutions, prompting the boards to halt all scheduled exams. Students who were set to appear for their examinations will now face delays as the boards work to reschedule the affected exams.
Officials from the Federal and Rawalpindi boards have assured students and parents that new exam dates will be communicated promptly. The boards emphasized their commitment to ensuring minimal disruption to the academic calendar while adhering to the government’s directive.
The Punjab government is currently having a hard time calming down the protesting students who are demanding justice for the victim of the alleged rape case at a private college in Lahore.
