Infinix has launched the Hot 70 Pro with several special finishes, a large display, 5G support, and a big battery.
The phone follows the non-Pro model with a strong focus on design. It comes in six finishes, including Thermo Orange, Mirage Green, Silk Glow Purple, Depth Ring White, Night Pulse, and Dive Blue.
Design and Display
The Infinix Hot 70 Pro has four special finishes; Thermo Orange changes its shade with heat and cold. Mirage Green lights up like a starry sky under UV light. Silk Glow Purple has a dynamic shine with an embedded nanocrystal texture on the back panel. Depth Ring White adds a 3D-style effect.
The two more conventional finishes are Night Pulse, which is black, and Dive Blue.
All variants weigh 205 grams. However, the thickness varies slightly depending on the finish. Thermo Orange, Dive Blue, and Night Pulse measure 7.85mm, while Mirage Green, Silk Glow Purple, and Depth Ring White measure 7.95mm.
The phone has a 6.76-inch 1080p IPS LCD. The display supports an adaptive refresh rate with 45Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, and 144Hz modes.
The Hot 70 Pro also carries an IP68 rating for water resistance, with protection up to 2 meters for 30 minutes. Infinix also lists MIL-STD-810 certification, but it has not specified the exact tests covered.
There is also a dedicated Folax-powered AI button on the right side. On the back, Infinix has added an Active Matrix Cube LED display inside a third camera lens housing.
Internals and Software
The Infinix Hot 70 Pro is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset.
The octa-core processor includes four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A75 cores. The phone comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and supports 5G connectivity.
It runs Android 16 with XOS 16 on top. Infinix has promised three major OS updates and five years of security patches.
Cameras
The phone has a 50MP Sony IMX882 wide-angle camera on the back.
The main rear sensor has a 1/1.95-inch size. For selfies and video calls, the Hot 70 Pro includes an 8MP front camera.
Battery and Pricing
The Infinix Hot 70 Pro comes with either a 5,600mAh or 6,000mAh battery, depending on the market.
It supports 45W charging, and Infinix includes the charger in the box.
The company has not announced pricing and availability details yet.
