Over 900,000 Motorcycle Licences Have Been Issued Across Punjab

The Additional Inspector General (AIG) of the Traffic Police has announced the continuation of a special initiative to facilitate motorcyclists in obtaining driving licenses across Punjab.

According to the traffic police’s statement, over 900,000 driving licenses were issued to motorcyclists last month. Out of these, more than 400,000 individuals received regular driving licenses.

Additionally, over 234,000 motorcyclists were granted learning licenses, and around 266,000 people renewed their learning or regular licenses during this period. Notably, Faisalabad Traffic Police took the lead in the province, providing the highest number of these services, setting a benchmark for other districts to follow.

The traffic police emphasized that motorcyclists are being issued regular licenses after completing the mandatory 42-day period for learning licenses, helping them to drive more confidently and safely.
