Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah Invites Argentina Football Team to Lyari

The Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, has extended an invitation to Argentina football team to visit Lyari, a neighborhood in Karachi known for its passionate football culture.

In a meeting with the Argentine Ambassador, Sebastian Sayus, discussions were held to strengthen bilateral relations between Sindh and Argentina. According to the spokesperson for the Chief Minister, it was agreed that Argentine investors would soon visit Sindh to engage with relevant departments.

Chief Minister Shah highlighted the lucrative opportunities for investment in Karachi’s water projects. He mentioned that the Sindh government has secured $50 million from the World Bank for projects aimed at treating saline water. He encouraged private investors to participate in treating seawater for urban supply.

Ambassador Sayus expressed that Argentine stock exchange companies are interested in investing in Sindh, particularly in establishing warehouses. The Chief Minister directed the Investment Department, the Food Department, and the Irrigation Department to coordinate with the Argentine ambassador.

In a move to foster cultural and sports ties, Chief Minister Shah invited Argentina football team to the Kakri Ground in Lyari. It was decided during the meeting that alongside investment initiatives, a football team would be developed in Sindh, with key players from the Argentine national team participating in training matches in Lyari.
