At a meeting in Lahore today, the Punjab Cabinet approved the ‘CM Punjab Laptop Scheme’ and the ‘Khelta Punjab program.
The cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, made several important decisions aimed at environmental protection and public welfare.
The Cabinet approved an amendment to the Provincial Motor Vehicle Ordinance 1965, increasing fines for vehicles emitting excessive smoke. Additionally, it launched an initiative to address plastic pollution by establishing District Plastic Management Committees.
