The OnePlus 13 is launching soon, with leaks suggesting it will debut at a higher price than its predecessor in the Chinese market, which would mean that the international pricing will be even higher.
The base model, which comes equipped with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, will reportedly start at $675. Meanwhile, we expect the high-end variant, which boasts 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, to be priced at up to $885. This pricing marks a $70 increase from the OnePlus 12, which launched last year at $605.
Several factors contribute to the OnePlus 13’s price bump, including a significant increase in component costs. The Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which will power the upcoming OnePlus 13, will cost 25-30% more than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 found in earlier models. Other key parts have also seen price hikes, pushing the overall cost up.
Specifications leaked via recent certification in China reveal that the OnePlus 13 will feature a 6.82-inch display with 1440p resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. For photography, it offers a powerful setup with a 32MP front-facing camera and three 50MP cameras on the back, covering main, ultrawide, and telephoto capabilities. The device also comes with a sizable 6,000 mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, ideal for power users.
As with previous OnePlus releases, these prices are specific to the Chinese market. When the phone launches internationally, the prices are always higher, especially in the European market due to extra taxes. However, with its upgraded internals and high-performance chipset, the OnePlus 13 may make up for the price increase.
