Inzamam-ul-Haq is regarded as one of the finest batters to ever play the game of cricket. His immaculate poise and assured stroke play won Pakistan many victories from precarious positions. The hefty right-hander represented Pakistan in 499 matches across all formats scoring 20,589 runs altogether during a career that spanned 16 years.

He also took charge of the national team in 122 matches across formats while captaining Malik for 13 of those games from 2003-2006. Izamam’s influence was significant on Malik who averaged 42 runs under his leadership scoring courtesy of a century and five scores of fifty-plus.

After retiring from the game, Inzamam took several roles with the Pakistan Cricket Board while also nabbing head-coaching responsibilities across the globe underlining his importance to the game of cricket.
