The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has released the updated list of Central Contracts for England Men’s cricket, marking a significant moment for the 2024-2025 season.
A total of 29 players have been awarded contracts, classified under three categories with seven players handed Two-Year Central Contracts, 19 players being given Annual Central Contracts, and three players earned themselves Development Contracts.
The ECB’s selection process for central contracts emphasizes players likely to feature in England squads across formats, acknowledging their recent performances and projecting future contributions. ECB’s Managing Director Rob Key praised the quality and depth within England’s red and white-ball formats, congratulating the newly contracted players.
