An increase in the grants provided under the Artist Khidmat Cards was also approved, with discussions to further support actors. In addition, the information minister will now handle the Lahore Arts Council Endowment Fund Board.

The cabinet approved the Punjab Government Advertisement Policy 2024, with the chief minister directing that a reliable system be put in place for timely payments to the media.

The cabinet also addressed city sewerage issues and planned improvements to address these problems.

The chief minister honored five deputy commissioners with certificates and two months’ salary bonuses for their outstanding performance, with the DC of Bahawalnagar ranking first.

For public safety, the cabinet approved constructing embankments to combat river erosion.

In health services, the cabinet conditionally approved land allotment for treating eye cancer and other diseases. Additionally, a grant of Rs. 20 million was awarded to the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council, and rewards for capturing dangerous criminals were increased.

A grant of Rs. 210 million was approved for the Chief Minister Punjab Climate Leadership Development Internship Program.

The cabinet also included two development projects for Lahore in the Annual Development Program and updated the Punjab Local Government (Accounts) Rules 2017. Re-appointment of the CEO of Quaid-i-Azam Solar Power Limited was also confirmed.

Lastly, the cabinet approved funds to improve sewerage and rainwater drainage systems across Punjab. A supplementary grant was given for Gujranwala Waste Management Company payments, and the Gujrat Waste Management Company’s Board of Directors was reconstituted.
