With the arrival of November, cooler temperatures have begun to settle across Pakistan, bringing a clear shift in weather patterns. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has noted a marked change, especially in Islamabad, where daytime sunshine fades into chilly evenings.
In Murree and Galliyat, colder winds have rolled in, with locals reaching for warmer layers. Light snowfall in regions like Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan has pushed temperatures down further, giving a taste of winter.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is set to experience mostly dry conditions, though cooler nights are expected. In Punjab, smog remains a concern as several areas, including Lahore, Faisalabad, and Sargodha, are forecasted to face poor air quality with the seasonal shift.
In contrast, the southern provinces of Sindh and Balochistan are anticipated to remain warm and dry, rounding out the diverse weather patterns across the country as Pakistan heads further into the cooler months.
