After PSG Another European Club Raises Free Palestine Banners

Galatasaray fans made a bold statement of solidarity yesterday during a UEFA Europa League match against Tottenham, unfurling a massive banner reading “Free Palestine”.

The Supporters behind one of the goals further displayed banners with powerful messages such as “Palestinian Genocide” and “Let Gaza Babies Live,” expressing solidarity with Palestine amid the ongoing war crimes being committed against them by Israel.

The Turkish side’s fans are not alone in this endeavor. Paris Saint-Germain fans recently joined in, unveiling banners in support of Palestine during Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League match against Atletico Madrid.

During the broadcast, the TV cameras repeatedly tried to frame the shot to avoid the banners but remained unsuccessful.

It remains to be seen whether UEFA will fine PSG or Galatasaray for their support of Palestine after previously fining Celtic for doing the same.

These demonstrations come as Israel continues its intense offensive on Gaza. The offensive has resulted in significant casualties, with nearly 43,500 lives lost and the area facing severe humanitarian devastation.

Additionally, Israel currently faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in the besieged enclave.

Fans across Europe are increasingly using high-profile matches to voice support for Palestine, underscoring the global resonance of the ongoing humanitarian crisis without the involvement of their clubs.
