Oman Announces Two Holidays for National Day

Oman has announced an official holiday on November 20-21 in celebration of the country’s 54th National Day, following Royal orders from Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.

The holiday will apply to employees across the State’s Administrative Apparatus, public sector organizations, private companies, and other legal entities. The Ministry of Labour issued a statement granting employers the flexibility to continue operations if needed, as long as employees are fairly compensated for working during the holiday.

This directive aims to honor the National Day while balancing business needs, offering flexibility for both employers and employees and celebrating the national spirit.
