PCB Announces Changes to Squad for ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup

The Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Men’s National Selection Committee has named Ahmed Hussain as a replacement for Mohammad Hassan Khan in the Pakistan U19 squad for the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup.

Hassan, a left-arm spinner, was earlier ruled out due to an ankle injury, which also kept him out of the tri-series final against Afghanistan.

Ahmed, a right-arm leg-spinner has already joined the team and will train with the squad today at the ICC Academy Ground.

Additionally, as per the Asian Cricket Council’s regulations, Mohammad Huzaifa has been added as the 15th player to the squad.

Originally, Pakistan had named a 14-member squad for the tournament, with Huzaifa only included in the tri-series squad. Saad Baig will continue to lead the team, as Pakistan looks to put the tri-series heartbreak behind them.
