Having previously toured Zimbabwe with the Pakistan Shaheens, Kamran Ghulam was already familiar with the playing conditions. “That experience helped me adjust and perform well in this series,” he added.

Kamran also expressed gratitude towards Pakistan’s captain Mohammad Rizwan, acknowledging his support throughout the innings. “Having Rizwan at the crease made things easier for me, especially as the pitch wasn’t the best for batting early on. His encouragement kept me going,” Kamran said.

Reflecting on his recent successes, Kamran Ghulam mentioned that the team’s win against Australia earlier had given them confidence, which eased the pressure in the Zimbabwe series. “I wasn’t under pressure during this series because of the belief we gained from the Australia win.”

Looking ahead, Kamran shared his excitement about upcoming challenges, including the series against South Africa and the ICC Champions Trophy. “I’m preparing for the South Africa series and the Champions Trophy. If given the chance, I’ll aim to perform well and contribute to the team’s success,” he stated.
