Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a special 10% discount on flights from Canada to Pakistan to celebrate the arrival of New Year 2025.
PIA officials confirmed the promotional offer, emphasizing their commitment to facilitating passengers traveling to Pakistan. The discount aims to make flights more affordable during the holiday season.
In a related development, PIA plans to resume flights to European destinations in the coming weeks following the European Union Aviation Safety Agency’s (EASA) recent decision to lift a four-year ban on Pakistani carriers.
The ban, initially imposed in 2020, stemmed from safety concerns following a PIA A-320-200 crash and revelations that over 25% of PIA pilots held questionable licenses. Despite efforts by PIA and the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) to address these issues, EASA has maintained the suspension until now.
PIA’s return to Europe and its current discount initiative signals the airline’s efforts to rebuild its reputation and expand its operations globally.
