Realme Neo 7 has launched as the first phone in the company’s brand new Neo series of phones. Other than its high-end specifications on a budget, the phone stands out for its ginormous battery capacity at 7,000 mAh, which makes it the biggest battery phone of 2024.
The Realme Neo 7 boasts a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a dynamic refresh rate of 1-120Hz which helps save battery and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. Protected by Crystal Armor Glass, the screen houses an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.
You also get IP69 protection against water and dust and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
On the inside, there is MediaTek’s high-end Dimensity 9300+ chipset, which can be paired with up to 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage, but there is no slot for a memory card. You can also go for cheaper memory configurations such as 12 GB/256 GB.
On the software side, you get Realme’s UI 6.0 loaded with AI features on top of Android 15. Realme has equipped the Neo 7 with a massive 7,700mm² vapor chamber cooling system to keep things cool during heavy use.
The device’s camera setup includes a 1/1.95″ 50MP main sensor with OIS and a 16mm ultrawide lens. The main camera can record at up to 4K 60 FPS.
The 16 MP selfie camera inside the punch-hole cutout is limited to 1080p 30 FPS video recording.
The 7,000 mAh battery promises up to three days of battery life, according to Realme’s internal tests. You get 80W super fast charging support, but there is no wireless charging onboard.
The starting price for Realme Neo 7 in China is $302 and it is available in white, blue, and black colors.
