Lahore Traffic Police Fine Motorcyclist Rs. 1.54 Lac for Repeated Violations

The Lahore traffic police have imposed a massive fine of Rs. 1,54,000 on a motorcyclist in Mughalpura for repeated violations of traffic rules.

According to the Chief Traffic Officer (CTO), the individual committed 86 violations, including 73 instances of riding without a helmet, nine instances of ignoring traffic signals, three violations of one-way traffic, and one for disregarding lane discipline.

The fine, which is almost equivalent to the price of a new motorcycle, highlights the serious consequences of neglecting traffic laws. The motorcycle has been impounded at the police station and will only be returned after the full payment of the fine.

This action is part of an intensified crackdown against habitual traffic violators and e-challan defaulters, initiated under the directives of the CTO. The Lahore traffic police are determined to enforce the law strictly to ensure road safety and discipline.
