Ghandhara Automobiles to Launch JAC T9 in Karachi This Month

Gandhara Automobiles is set to launch the JAC T9 double-cabin pickup in Pakistan on January 8, 2025. The unveiling event will take place at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Karachi. The announcement comes after weeks of speculation and excitement sparked by leaked images of the vehicle spotted in Karachi.

The JAC T9 is powered by a 2.0-liter diesel engine producing 170 horsepower and 410 Nm of torque. According to Gandhara Automobiles, the engine is designed to offer a balance between performance and fuel efficiency, making it suitable for urban roads as well as off-road terrains. The vehicle is equipped with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission for smooth gear shifts, while its heavy-duty suspension ensures reliability for off-road adventures and heavy load handling.

The pickup features a bold exterior design with a large grill, high ground clearance, and sleek alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin offers modern features such as an advanced infotainment system, climate control, and the option for leather seats, providing drivers and passengers with added comfort.

Gandhara Automobiles has expressed confidence in the JAC T9, describing it as a versatile vehicle that caters to the growing demand in Pakistan’s pickup market. The company plans to release more details, including pricing and full specifications, at the launch event.
