Pakistani Restaurant Comes Under Violent Extremist Attack in England

A troubling incident of religious intolerance occurred in Sheffield, England, where a British Pakistani-owned restaurant became the target of vandalism and harassment by a group of individuals described as Hindu extremists.

According to a report from 24NewsHD, the attackers damaged property and intimidated the restaurant’s staff.

Rahimullah Khan, the restaurant’s owner, disclosed that the perpetrators were Indian nationals who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. After finishing their meal, they caused a disturbance at the counter, accusing the restaurant of mixing beef with mutton.

“They were making baseless claims. Our menu doesn’t even include beef,” Rahimullah clarified.

The situation escalated as the group smashed glass panels, damaged other items, and physically assaulted staff members.

British police responded promptly to the incident, arresting the suspects. An investigation is now underway to assess the damages and uncover the motives behind the attack.

The local community in Sheffield has strongly condemned the act, calling for greater efforts to protect minority-owned businesses from such acts of prejudice.
