Nothing is gearing up for a strong 2025. After staying quiet since the launch of the Nothing Phone (2) in July 2023, leaked information from an internal email shows Nothing’s launch plans for 2025.
Tipster Evan Blass revealed to the public on X (formally Twitter) that Nothing has two new smartphones coming up: the Nothing Phone (3) and another device codenamed “landmark.”
The internal email confirms the development of the Nothing Phone (3), which is set to introduce “breakthrough innovations in the user interface.” Carl Pei emphasized that this device will be a major upgrade in integrating AI into Nothing’s ecosystem, aligning with his vision of creating technology that is smarter and more intuitive.
Earlier in 2024, Nothing also revealed how the company is looking to revolutionize its UI using AI, including a dynamic home screen. Perhaps we will finally get to see that with Nothing Phone (3).
Reports suggest the Nothing Phone (3) will feature a telephoto camera, along with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and eSIM support. Meanwhile, another upcoming device with model number NT04 has appeared in BIS listings, indicating an imminent India launch. This model is expected to house a 4,290 mAh battery, smaller than the 5,000 mAh cells found in earlier models.
In addition to the Phone (3), a second device, referred to as “landmark,” is slated for launch in Q1 2025. While details remain scarce, speculation suggests it could be an affordable smartphone or a product under Nothing’s CMF (Color, Material, Finish) lineup.
Pei noted in the email that “2025 will be by far our biggest year yet,” highlighting the company’s goal to redefine personal computing devices. He envisions technology that seamlessly integrates into users’ lives, making everyday tasks easier.
