India’s Champions Trophy Matches in Dubai Sold Out in Record Time

India has flexed its cricketing financial muscles once again after tickets for all its matches in the upcoming Champions Trophy were sold out just hours after going on sale. With the tournament set to bring high-stakes action, India’s clashes against Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh have generated immense demand, leading to a swift sell-out.

India’s matches are always among the most anticipated in global cricket, and the Dubai International Stadium is expected to host packed crowds for each encounter. Twenty-five thousand spectators will get to watch Rohit Sharma’s men take on three opponents from Group A as they look to add a third title to their collection. The marquee India vs. Pakistan clash, traditionally one of the sport’s most-watched fixtures, was especially in high demand. Tickets ranging from AED 300 up to AED 12,500 each found a buyer, leaving thousands of fans empty-handed.

There is a similar craze for tickets in Pakistan, with fans eager to get their hands on the coveted passes to witness the first international ICC tournament on home soil since 1996.
