The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has issued new timings for educational institutions in Islamabad during the month of Ramadan.
The adjusted schedule will apply to all Islamabad Model Schools and Colleges, as well as Ex-F.G. Colleges in both urban and rural areas.
According to the official notification, single-shift schools will operate from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM from Monday to Thursday, while Friday timings will be from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
For institutions with double shifts, the morning shift will run from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM from Monday to Friday. The evening shift will follow a different schedule, operating from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM from Monday to Thursday and from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM on Fridays.
Ex-F.G. Colleges will follow the same schedule as single-shift institutions, with classes from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM from Monday to Thursday and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Fridays.
All Area Education Officers have been instructed to ensure the implementation of these revised timings. The notification was issued with the approval of the Director General (FDE).
