After increasing the price of the Suzuki Alto by up to Rs. 120,000 in February 2025, Pakistan Suzuki Motors Company (PSMC) has now unveiled the upgraded version of the hatchback.
The company had earlier hinted that the price hike was due to the addition of new features—and now the updated model has been spotted, confirming the changes.
Dealerships have shared a complete list of new features, with most focused on improving safety and convenience.
Upgraded Features in All Variants
- Back Door Emblem Location (Changed): Now updated in all variants.
- Fasten Seatbelt Indicator,
- Right Front Seatbelt Pretensioner.
- Front Seatbelt Reminder.
- ISOFIX Lower Anchor.
- Back Door Garnish.
Upgrades in VXR MT and VXR AGS Variants
- Power Window Switch Illumination.
- Front and Rear Power Windows.
- Safety Pinch Guard for Driver Window.
- Auto Up/Down Mechanism for Driver Window.
Variant-Specific Additions
- ABS (Anti-lock Braking System): Now available in the VXR MT variant only.
- Side Turn Lamp: Added to the AGS variant.
The Suzuki Alto had come under public scrutiny recently after a video of a severely damaged vehicle circulated online. This sparked rumours that the car had been banned on motorways or was being discontinued altogether. Both claims were later denied.

Pakistani automobile industries should stop the manufacturing of the low substandard grade vehicles who are depriving the poor people of their wealth and life. Better to import from Japan, Korea, USA, Italy, Germany, Malaysia. There made cars are fully equipped with all the modern cars features and are much much safer and meets all the international standards in the markets of the world and are much much cheaper then the pakistani tin coffin boxes (All pakistan made vehicles).
