The Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) has launched a new double-decker bus service in Faisalabad.
The service, tailored specifically for business teams, foreign delegations, and private gatherings, offers an organised way to explore tourist spots in and around the city.
According to TDCP’s Manager Operations, Zakir Hussain, the initiative is designed to cater to managerial staff, production departments, and even families planning birthdays, weddings, or other celebrations.
Alongside the Faisalabad tours, TDCP has also introduced one- to three-day travel packages across various regions of Punjab and the northern areas. The one-day tours include visits to popular destinations such as Gutwala Forest Park, Rana Resort, Head Baloki, Chiniot, the Khewra Salt Mine, Katas Raj Temples, Kallar Kahar, and Changa Manga.
For those looking for longer getaways, itineraries extend to Murree, Nathia Gali, Soan Valley, and other scenic hill stations. Zakir Hussain said that bookings for both the double-decker shuttle and longer coach trips can be made at the TDCP office located on Club Road, Bagh-e-Jinnah, Faisalabad.
He added that the objective is to make tourism more accessible and enjoyable for locals and corporate groups, offering them a chance to explore Punjab’s natural beauty and cultural heritage at an affordable price.

What is there to see in Punjab? Or Lahore? Heaps of trash? Buffaloes grazing on trash? Disorderly traffic? What exactly?
