Inter Exams Postponed in Another District

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Mirpurkhas has announced the postponement of the upcoming intermediate examinations, citing road closures that have severely disrupted transport and access across the region.

The examinations, initially set to begin on April 28, will now start on May 5, according to Controller of Examinations Anwar Aleem Khanzada. He assured students that a revised schedule will soon be released to reflect the changes.

The delay stems from logistical challenges caused by blocked roads, making it difficult for students and examination staff to reach examination centres safely and on time.

The board has been grappling with multiple difficulties in recent months. Financial constraints and administrative hurdles have already weakened its ability to conduct examinations efficiently.

In addition, the board had previously failed to organise supplementary examinations, raising concerns among students about delays in academic progression.

This latest decision is likely to cause a domino effect, further delaying the release of results and complicating university admissions for thousands of students.
