Karachi Kings’ top-order fireworks laid the foundation for their total of 204/4. After Tim Seifert and David Warner gave them a flying start (adding 57 in just over 4 overs), it was James Vince’s calm presence and Khushdil Shah’s late carnage that punished a ragged Multan attack. The Sultans’ bowling looked flat once more, with Ubaid Shah (2/49) and Campher (1/27) being the only wicket-takers of note.
Multan’s chase never really took off. Mohammad Rizwan fell for a duck in the second over, triggering a procession. Mohammad Nabi (3/14) weaved his magic through the middle overs, while Khushdil Shah (2/26) and Mir Hamza (2/15) ensured there was no comeback. No batter crossed 30, and the Sultans were bowled out in the 17th over, a common sight this year.
