Four Illegal Housing Schemes Sealed in Rawalpindi

In a decisive move against unregulated real estate development, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Tuesday sealed four illegal housing schemes following instructions from the Divisional Intelligence Committee.

According to an official RDA statement, the targeted projects include Nishan-i-Mustufa / Ample Living, Countryside Farm Houses, Agro Park, and Green Lake City. These schemes were operating in various areas of Rawalpindi, including Mouzas Bagga Sheikhan, Chak Beli Khan, Ratial, Ralla Gujran, and along Kuri Khuda Bakhsh Road.

During the enforcement operation, RDA teams dismantled key infrastructure associated with the unauthorized developments — including site offices, boundary walls, roads, and footpaths.

The operation was led by RDA Director General Kinza Murtaza, who reaffirmed the authority’s commitment to curbing fraudulent housing practices and shielding citizens from exploitation.

Despite repeated warnings, the developers of these schemes continued to operate booking offices and advertise their projects in violation of RDA regulations.

The RDA has once again urged the public to steer clear of unauthorized housing schemes and to verify a project’s legal status through the official website: www.rda.gop.pk.
