Kia is Launching Pakistan’s “Largest and Most Powerful SUV”

A new locally assembled 7-seater SUV is set to debut in Pakistan soon, and it’s already generating attention. Described as the largest and most powerful vehicle in its class to be assembled within the country, this release marks a significant moment for the local auto industry.

A First for the Local Market

This upcoming SUV should stand out due to its size and seating capacity. While local assembly of compact and midsize vehicles is not new, the arrival of a full-size SUV in this category highlights an evolving market with increasing demand for larger family vehicles.

Assembly and Availability

The vehicle will be produced at a local facility, which suggests a push toward greater self-sufficiency in the auto sector. Local assembly is expected to help reduce costs typically associated with imported models, potentially making this SUV more accessible once it becomes available.

Official Reveal Expected Soon

Though the manufacturer has yet to confirm key details such as pricing, features, or the exact launch date, the teaser indicates that the formal reveal is imminent. The silhouette alone has sparked considerable speculation, suggesting that the vehicle will have a commanding presence on the road.

Here is what the teaser image looks like.

The overall silhouette and the distinctive shape of the rear taillight match the design of the Kia Sorento. The text also mentions “Pakistan’s largest and most powerful 7-seater SUV,” which aligns with the Sorento’s positioning in the market. It is likely an updated model for 2025 and maybe we will also get to see new features and an updated design, but there is no confirmation as of yet.
