PAF Releases Video of JF-17 Taking Off to Destroy India’s S-400 Defense System

A video showing a Pakistani JF-17 Thunder fighter jet taking off while armed with hypersonic missiles has been released officially.

The footage is from Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, Pakistan’s military response against India, during which a Russian-made Indian S-400 air defense system was destroyed.

The video, now widely circulated on social media, captures the moment the JF-17 Thunder lifts off the runway, fully loaded for a high-stakes mission.

While the actual strike is not shown, security sources confirm the aircraft in the video was part of the operation that targeted the S-400 system in Adampur.

The strike marked a significant achievement for Pakistan’s defense forces, as the S-400 is considered one of the world’s most advanced long-range air defense systems. Designed to intercept threats like fighter jets and ballistic missiles from up to 600 kilometers away, it is a key element of India’s military defense network.

Pakistan’s successful operation is being viewed as a major setback for India, which signed a $5 billion deal with Russia in 2018 to acquire five S-400 units.
