Ben Dwarshuis Returns to Boost Islamabad United’s PSL X Hopes

In a welcome boost to Islamabad United’s faltering campaign, Australian left-arm seamer Ben Dwarshuis is set to rejoin the side for the remainder of PSL X, returning to Pakistan just as the defending champions grapple with a foreign player drain that has unsettled multiple franchises across the league.

Dwarshuis’ return comes at a critical juncture. With Islamabad United battling for a playoff spot, the arrival of a dependable overseas professional restores some stability to a depleted squad still aiming to keep pace with the competition ahead of their final matches.

The three-time PSL champions have been dealt successive blows in recent days as PSL X resumes following a delay. Most of their first-team members, including Colin Munro, Andries Gous, Kyle Mayers, and Jason Holder, are not expected to be back for the rest of the tournament.
